This project is part of the Liverpool City Region ESF Ways to Work Programme and is part-funded by the European Social Fund and the Youth Employment Initiative. The programme aims to support local people into work through job search, coaching and mentoring, work experience, training, skills development and information, advice and guidance.
West Derby Children’s Centre joined together with Tuebrook and deliver services across both sites for children under five and their families in the West Derby and Tuebrook area. This includes support for parents such as advice on parenting and child development, local childcare options, and access to specialist services; a whole range of child and family health services from midwife and health visitor services to breastfeeding support; and helping parents into work and training.
At the heart of both Centres’ is high quality learning, and already its success has been noted by families who benefit from the wide range of services provided.
The centre offers a wide range of weekly fun activities for parents, carers and their children, all free of charge. It also offers a range of services, advice, and support for expectant parents, & teenage parents.
All our centre activities are free and open to all parents with children under 5 years. We also offer a range of services, advice, and support for expectant parents.
